The
school initiated the Aum Badum breaking
today. Aum Badum is a clay pig that encourages young people to save money that
would go to serve a better cause. This is a fund raising program started by the
Bhutan Youth Development Fund (YDF) and
was initiated early this year at the school.
After six months of saving, the savings were collected and handed over
to YDF. This saving will help to fund YDF’s many programs that help financially
disabled youth. The school would like to thank all the students, teachers and staff members for their generous contribution and the Bhutan Youth Development Fund for coming up with programs like these to help the needy population.
