Great Leaders are optimistic

Great leaders inspire other people, their friends, customer, associates and even their children because they are inspired themselves.

Our youth are our future

The future of the nation lies in the hands of our younger generatios. It is therefore crucial that they live up to our high expectation and ensure the continued well being and security of the nation. H.M

Success is where preparation and opportunity meet.

Teach your child about good sportsmanship and the positive aspects of the experience.

A heart of a good Teacher

A good teacher, like a good entertainer first must hold his audience's attention, then he can teach his lesson.

21st Century School Leaders

As we look ahead into the 21st century, leaders will be those who empower others. - Bill Gates.

Buddhism has been around for over 2,500 years.

Science Exhibition , 2015

The science exhibition in our school was held on 5th September. The topic this year for class ten was ‘light based technology’ and for class 9  it was ‘waste to energy’. It was open for classes seven and eight. The budding scientist of our school presented many ingenious ideas as exhibits. We were able to see young Edison’s, Newton’s and Faraday’s among them. The exhibits were creative and eye-catching and some were spectacular!  There were varieties of models that were displayed. To mention a few; a water rocket, bio gas, eco friendly houses, salt water battery, food dyer, hydraulic robot, a motor car and many more  presented. These still models and working model provided a feast to our eyes. The projects were fairly and sensibly judged by the teachers. Thus the exhibitions content were to encourage the students in bringing out their artistic sides and letting them realize the astonishing world of science. So exhibitions are opportunities where ideas will begin to bloom for the progress of the world

Annual Concert, 2015

                                                       The Annual School Concert.

The annual concert for the year, 2015 in LZMSS kicked off on the night of 28th of August, with Her Royal Highness, Ashi Euphelma Choden Wangchuck as our chief guest, who graced us with her presence and for whom we are thankful to, for making time for our school.
From the first day itself, as early as 5:30 pm, the MPH hall started to fill up with excited parents, all joyful and proud, with cameras in their hands to capture the moments of their children in the spotlight. Other family members- sisters, brothers, cousins and friends came too, to show their love and support for the performers! Of course, our own LMSS students were filling up the hall too, to also support the performers, but they came maybe mainly to relieve their stress from all the school work due, and to just relax and enjoy! Heartbeats were synced with the beat of the music, all eyes of the crowd feasted on the unique performances, the mixture of energetic, graceful, educative, humorous performances and the addition of the effects of the fancy lights created a very buzzing and electric atmosphere that spread like wildfire!
Back stage, and outside the hall, even more excited students buzzed around, dressing up and getting ready for their performance. Each one dressed and looked so amazing and beautiful. Delicious refreshments were being served and sold to calm the nerves of the performers and also just to fill the stomachs of the audience.
With the same atmosphere, the concert continued on; the 2nd day on the 29th and 3rd day on the 30th of August.  The whole three days were a huge success, not only because of the performers but also because of the hard work put in by our teachers, captains and a handful of students. With the combined hard work, all the three days ran smoothly with no obstructions.
With no doubt, at the end of the concert each day, everyone left for home, satisfied and happy. The family members of the performers were ever so proud, and the performers ever so grateful for getting the opportunity to perform. And for the people who came just for the sake of enjoying, were ever so glad they did!
The annual concert of 2015 was and still is a memorable event for LMSS.
